Inhalt Zusammenfassung

Abstract
Requirements of internal combustion engines are continuously changing. Because of this rapid change, engineers face the challenge of developing lubricating oils to the edge. The oil change period of engines is increasing, lubricants have to work longer, also near to the end of their designed life time. Lubricants are also exposed to heat, contamination and physical load. To simulate these various effects on the oil, a simple lubricant testing method was developed at the Department of Internal Combustion Engines at Széchenyi István University. With this method it is possible to make oil tests quicker and more cost-effective. This article presents this newly developed oil testing method.
