Inhalt Zusammenfassung

Abstract
Simulation techniques for coupled elasto-hydrodynamic/multi body dynamic systems are important devel-opment tools in product development nowadays, in order to determine dynamic and tribomechanic sys-tem properties, weakness analyses as well as optimization capabilities. Essential attributes of the model-ing depth of motor components are the consideration of elastic assembly deformation and whose reaction to the load transmission in bearings and steerings under hydrodynamic and mixed friction. The integration of mixed friction models allows considering the influence of micro geometry of surface structures to the hydrodynamic lubrication film as well as solid body contact based on average flow and contacting pres-sure models.
Within this article all essential basics of simulation techniques, included boundary conditions as well as comparison of simulation results with measurements will be discussed.
The simulation technique will be applied on the friction loss in a crankshaft drive of a 3,0 liter V6 Otto mo-tor under trailed conditions.
